Dave has a background in business and management. He has a Masters Degree in Business Management, and his professional experience includes over 12 years in the Natural Food industry as the Director of Purchasing for a national food company. Dave's greatest strengths include contract negotiations and negotiating for the financial interests of his clients.
Kathryn Deem, M.A. Ed., Realtor
Kathryn spent over a decade working with students of all ages before becoming what she terms a real estate "educator" focused on teaching people what they need to know to make good decisions about real estate. Besides coordinating summer institutes and outreach programs for UC Irvine, in Orange County, she ran a daycare/preschool for four years and served as an educational consultant. Kathryn's background in Education has firmly grounded her in the desire to help real estate clients understand the real estate transaction and make fully informed decisions.
Living and loving it in Orange, CA Dave and Kathryn have lived in the city of Orange for over 15 years. They have two daughters, two dogs, and two cats. They first moved to a rental home in Orange before their second child was born. The good schools, friendly neighbors and easy access to freeways made them fall in love with Orange and buy their first home right in the same neighborhood. Meeting neighbors through the Deem Team Yard Sale events, annual Canned Food Drives, school, church, and community activities has made their decade plus in real estate a wonderful experience, even in the last 5 years of the challenging market.
